Heritage potatoes on the Great British Food Revival

November 23, 2011

I don’t get to see TV that often so I was glad that I was able to catch this episode of the Great British Food Revival in which Gregg Wallace makes the case for the revival of the humble spud. During the show he tracks down heritage varieties  from many places including a trip to the potato genebank at the Scottish Crops Research Institute. The segment on rare pig breeds by Clarissa Dickson Wright was excellent too.
