Workshop on CAP Reform and Biodiversity
The Irish Environmental Network (IEN), through it’s project Working and Educating for Biodiversity (WEB), is hosting a discussion workshop on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy and its implications for biodiversity in Ireland this coming Thursday, February 16th at 2.00pm in the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin. WEB is comprised of IEN member groups (national Environmental NGOs) that are involved in campaigning for the protection of the unique natural habitats, flora and fauna of Ireland’s land and sea. The workshop forms part of a broad process undertaken by WEB to consult with those with experience and insight in the fields of agriculture, biodiversity and the ecosystems services which intrinsically link the two together. The workshop will be attended by a broad range of stakeholders and interested parties. Further details can be obtained from Geoff Hamilton at IEN, firstname.lastname@example.org.
