Happenings in Scarriff

October 29, 2010

Irish Seed Savers have launched their first ever e-newsletter. Among the news, they report that construction has started on their new Seed Bank. Phase 1 will contain a barn for apple and potato storage. Phase 2, to begin next year, will see the addition of a new seed drying building which will consolidate seed drying, processing and packaging to one area at their facility in Scarriff. There doesn’t appear to be an obvious place on their website where you can subscribe but I am sure this can be quickly sorted out by contacting ISS.
