Bees for biodiversity

February 18, 2010

Our dinner plates and cupboards would certainly be very bare if it wasn’t for bees. The importance of bees is certainly something that young 7 year old Karl Dawson appreciates. Karl has just been announced as the winner of a logo competition organised by South Tipperary County Council. Karl’s winning entry will be used as the official logo for the first ever South Tipperary Biodiversity Action Plan and all future communication about biodiversity by South Tipperary County Council. Congratulations¬† Karl, there might be some crop wild relatives communication work coming your way soon!
